Paperless Parts Expands into Australia and New Zealand Manufacturing Markets

Company brings industry-leading quoting and estimating software to new markets, helping manufacturers throughout Australia & New Zealand improve win rates, drive operational efficiency, and improve buyers’ experience.

April 24, 2025

Paperless Parts, the leading quoting and collaboration solution for custom part manufacturers, today announced its official entry into Australia & New Zealand. They will be introducing the software live at Australian Manufacturing Week (AMW), Melbourne, 6–9 May. With over 700 precision manufacturing and sheet metal fabrication customers across North America, Paperless Parts has now secured initial contracts with several leading manufacturers in Australia and New Zealand following a deliberate period of testing and refinement to ensure the platform delivered the same high performance in the region.

Paperless Parts officially welcomed its first Australian customer, Metal-Tech Industries (MTI), in the fall of 2024. Prior to partnering with Paperless Parts, the MTI team spent more than a year searching for the right quoting platform, traveling across Australia, New Zealand, and Europe to evaluate dozens of solutions. After discovering Paperless Parts, they encouraged the team to expand their offering to Australia. When Paperless Parts launched a limited international rollout later that year—marking the first expansion beyond North America—MTI joined as the company’s first customer in Australia.

“From pre-sales to onboarding to support, the Paperless team has been fantastic,” said Nathan Hockey, Director at MTI. “The thorough implementation process helped us nail our workflows, system integrations, and custom formulas right from the start.” MTI has already begun to see meaningful business results from Paperless Parts. “We’re busier than ever,” says Hockey. “In just 4 months, we’ve increased our quote volume by 30%, even after shutting down for the Christmas break. Sales are up 25%, and we expect that to keep climbing as we continue to quote more opportunities that we would have missed before. For individual parts and small assemblies, we’re quoting in under 24 hours, and for larger assemblies, we’re quoting within 48 hours. We’re thrilled with the results and excited for what’s to come.”

Paperless Parts also welcomed its first New Zealand-based customer earlier this year, leading manufacturer Metco Engineering. “We’re really looking forward to going live with Paperless Parts at the end of the week,” said Jack Smith, Digitalisation & Process Improvement Manager at Metco. “The platform will transform how we manage everything from quoting through to production. By automating many of our quoting processes, our team will be able to respond to customer requests faster, deliver more accurate quotes, and significantly reduce the time from estimate to finished part. It’s a major step forward as we continue to modernise our operations and position Metco for continued growth.”

“We’re proud of the tremendous growth and value Paperless Parts has created for manufacturers in North America over the past eight years. We have seen significant demand from the APAC region and I am excited to say we are ready to make the same impact in Australia and New Zealand,” said Jason Ray, Founder and CEO of Paperless Parts. “Transforming the estimating & quoting experience for manufacturers across a new region will help drive greater efficiency throughout the global supply chain.”
