How do I participate?
How to enter + and how to win
- Download sample part files. Grab the sample parts on this page to use in your demo (or your own non-sensitive parts—no real customer files, please).
- Record your video. Film a short walkthrough (2–30 minutes) showing how you use Paperless Parts. Highlight your favorite feature or hack, walk through a daily quoting workflow, showcase a custom API; this is purposely open-ended!
- Upload to YouTube. Post the video to either your personal or company YouTube page. If you do not have a YouTube channel, reach out to [email protected] and we can help you get set up with one!
- Notify us of your entry. Share the YouTube link using the form on this page, or email it directly to us at [email protected], so that our team can find it.

Demo Contest FAQs
Can we use our own part files?
Sure! You may use your own non-sensitive parts instead of the sample files, just make sure you’re not sharing any real customer data or confidential/restricted information. Videos containing CUI will immediately be disqualified.
How long should the video be?
Videos must be longer than 2 minutes and shorter than 30 minutes. The sweet spot is usually somewhere in the 5–15 minute range: long enough to teach something useful, short enough to keep people watching.
What if we’re camera-shy?
No problem; screen recordings with voiceover are absolutely fine! You don’t have to appear on camera. If you do show anyone’s face, just make sure they’ve given consent.
Can we enter more than once?
Unlimited entries per company.
Do we have to promote the video?
We’ll help by resharing standout entries, but you’re encouraged to promote your video to your own audience. Email, social media, and your website are all great ways to build views.
What if we spot a mistake after submitting?
You can update your YouTube title, description, or thumbnail at any time. If you need to update the video URL or contact details, please reach out to us at [email protected].
How will we know if our entry is valid?
After you submit the form, we’ll review your video. If there’s any issue with eligibility or rules, we’ll reach out so you can fix it where possible.
