Initially, President Grayr Torosyan was managing the company’s quoting process using spreadsheets and folders, which was overwhelming and made it difficult to track past jobs and quote accurately.

On top of that, one of the main challenges IA Engineers faced before implementing Paperless Parts was growing the business. Grayr found it difficult to manage the quoting process and track past jobs, which made it hard to accurately quote new ones.

“It was taking me about four hours to prepare each part to quote,” recalls Grayr. “And it would take me days to get it out as I had to manage files, folders, and spreadsheets for each customer.”


When Grayr discovered Paperless Parts, a quoting and order management software, he saw a solution for streamlining the CNC machining side of the business right away.

“Everything became easier to manage. I can upload parts, select a process, material and finish, connect my programmer to it to find out programming cost and get my materials guy to provide me a quote in ten minutes. I’m able to send my customers a quote in under 24 hours, and often in under one hour. The fact that we can share DFM feedback directly with the customer through Paperless Parts user interface saves us time and keeps our history in one place,” says Grayr.
