System Requirements

System requirements for all SpaceClaim products
(including Professional, LT, LTX, Home, Viewer, and TraceParts® Editions):

Operating Systems:
Microsoft® Windows XP with Service Pack 2
Microsoft® Windows Vista™

SpaceClaim is not supported running on emulated or a virtual Windows environment. However, Intel-based Apple hardware running native Windows using Boot Camp are subject to the same hardware requirements as other Intel-based hardware.

Video Card:
Requires Full DirectX® 9c, February 2007 edition or greater, hardware support, 64 MB of graphics memory or higher, Shader 2.0 hardware support, 32 bits per pixel, 1024x768 minimum resolution. Please ensure that you have the latest graphics driver for your card.

The following commonly used video cards support the above requirements (1) :

Radeon®:
ATI® Radeon R300, R420, R520, R600, or R700 series.
Radeon 9x00 cards (9700, 9800, …) or newer
NVIDIA®:
NVIDIA GeForce® FX, 6, 7, or 8 series. NVIDIA FX5200's or newer
AMD™:
AMD FireGL™ T2-128 or higher (including the ‘Mobility' series for laptops)
Intel®:
GMA 950 & GMA 3100

Video Requirements Diagnostic Tool
This will check your video hardware meets SpaceClaim requirements
CPU:
Pentium® 4 2.0 GHZ or Athlon® 2000+ or faster, 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit (x64) processor (2)

RAM:
Minimum:  512MB RAM (32-bit), 1Gb RAM (64-bit)
Recommended:  2GB RAM or higher, 256MB of graphics memory

Other:
2GB of available disk space (3)
DVD drive (4)
Microsoft Internet Explorer® 5.5 or higher (5)
CD drive (only for CD installation)
2 Button + Wheel Mouse
USB Spaceball (Optional)

Note:
SpaceClaim requires Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0 to be installed on Windows XP, and the installer will automatically install it on 32-bit machines. If you use a 64-bit Windows XP, you will need to manually download and install it from here .
(1) SpaceClaim does not certify or recommend specific graphic cards.
(2) TraceParts is not supported on 64-bit machines.
(3) TraceParts requires 3Gb additional free disk space to support all component catalogues.
